  • What is the Harvard Club of Belgium?
    • The Harvard Club of Belgium is the official association of alumni/ae from Harvard University. It is a private, de facto non-for-profit organization that operates on behalf of Belgian based alumni of Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges, and Harvard graduate schools. The Club’s purpose is to provide opportunities to pursue common interests with fellow alumni in Belgium. The Club is established and runs independently from the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA), though strong connections to the HAA are maintained.
  • Who is eligible to become a member of the club?
    • Graduates of Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges and the other schools of Harvard University are eligible to join. Friends membership is open to those with a close connection to Harvard at the discretion of the Board.
  • What are the benefits of joining?

  • Are there designated club facilities?
    • The Harvard Club of Belgium does not have a clubhouse. Club events take place at a variety of venues in Brussels and elsewhere. We often use the facilities at the University Foundation in the Egmontstraat 11, B-1000 Brussels.
  • What is the membership year?
    • Membership runs from January to the following December.
  • How can I pay for membership?
    • Members may pay by bank transfer.

  • How do I register for an event?
    • You can register to any event by following the instructions included in the respective invitation.
  • Is there a tax-efficient way to donate to Harvard?
    • Anyone who is resident in Belgium for tax purposes can make a donation for our scholarship fund and obtain a tax certificate from the King Baudouin Foundation (KBF) if above 40 euros.
